Watercolour Florals - A Time Lapse Painting

Hello friends! Hope you have had a wonderful start to your 2020! I can hardly believe it is already nearing the end of January. Where has the time gone?

I’ve spent much of January planning and trying to focus in on some big goals for 2020. I’ve decided that my work “year” consists of eleven months instead of twelve. January is my time to organize my mind and that mostly happened. Of course, I can’t take the month off and not work. Between planning and quiet solo brainstorm sessions, I’ve been working on commissions and teaching classes and this video!

Here’s a simple watercolour painting, sped up to show you the whole process from start to finish. It is a sample painting that I will be presenting to the attendees of one of my spring workshops, Brushes and Blooms, hosted by The Social Florist.

For now, I hope this video brings you some peace and the inspiration to pick up a paintbrush!
