Workshops
Workshops are the perfect way to dip your toes into creativity. Join me for a spell and discover a new hobby, improve your skills or just have a good time with kindred spirits. I host workshops independently, as well as work with companies that host workshops for their employees.
In each workshop, we will tackle the subjects of how to find inspiration, use reference images and discover your personal style. You will be introduced to the basics of watercolour painting and receive hands on guidance on how to compose and craft beautiful art. We will also touch on topics like colour theory, creative process and art history.
Each session is a minimum of 2 hours.
What will I learn?
You will learn the magic of painting from the ground up! No experience necessary. We will go through basic techniques from colour mixing to composition. You will acquire the skills and tips you need to create beautiful paintings in a range of styles depending on the theme of the workshop. We also discuss the world of art, amazing artists and fascinating tidbits of art history.

Yes! Pick the shipping option, “Local Vancouver Pickup” and send me an email so we can coordinate :)
What is your return/exchange policy?
All sales are final. Should anything arrived damaged, please contact me immediately upon delivery with images of item and packaging.
Are the colours of the artwork exactly as they appear on my screen?
I try my best to make sure every photo is as close to the original. However screen resolution, model, and brightness may reflect subtle variations.
Prints + Framing
Are your prints archival?
Yes and no. Limited edition prints or prints in the higher price range are printed on higher quality paper and use archival inks. Prints in the lower price range are not archival but are not likely to fade unless left in direct sunlight all day, every day.
Do your pieces come framed?
All prints and originals for sale come unframed.
What paper do you paint on?
All originals are painted on heavy weight, artist quality 100% cotton rag paper. It is acid free and made to handle wet media. I vary between brands but so far my favourites are the Arches Hot Press paper, Opus Finest Watercolour, and Papeterie Saint-Armand rough paper.
What are your favourite art supplies?
It’s tough to narrow down but these are the supplies I use the most:
La Sirena Handmade Watercolours
Winsor and Newton Professional Watercolours
Daniel Smith Watercolours
Stillman and Birn Sketchbooks
Koh-i-noor inks
Unison Colour pastels

Who owns the copyright?
By law, the copyright of any and all images, including commissions of any kind, remains with the artist. This means that I maintain ownership of all rights to the images. To learn more about how this applies to paintings commissioned for decorative purposes/display in your home, please visit the Commissions page.
For any work commissioned for editorial or business purposes, it is possible to come to a licensing agreement that clearly states what your fee includes beyond the actual creation of the art.
How does licensing work?
Licensing artwork means that you are paying for specific use of the image. It does not mean you own the image or original, although this can be negotiated at a higher fee.
Typically, the fee is dependant on what you intend to use the image for (i.e. branding, promotion etc), how long you will be using it, and where you will be using it (i.e. print, website, etc).
I follow industry standards for my quotes.
