Join me for a creative morning of watercolour painting in the heart of Vancouver. The theme is for this workshop is beautiful and festive botanicals.
I will introduce you to the essential techniques and help you develop your watercolour skills and grow in confidence with your creativity. We will discuss topics including colour theory, application of paint to paper, and the creative process. You will learn how simple brush strokes and basic shapes can be used to create different types of leaves and flowers. I will show you, step by step, how to create and compose illustrations all the while teaching you the basics of watercolours.
This workshop is suited to all levels and is not limited to Christmas botanicals. Everything we talk about can be applied to all subjects of painting.
